4 years later......and 40 days to go, another trip of a lifetime. As most of you know I got to have an experience few others get to. I lived and worked in a European country for 30 days as an IBMer. While it was an unforgettable time that I was able to share with my co-workers/new friends, I missed sharing it with my family. When I returned home, I promised my oldest we will go to Europe and Slovenia someday so, he can see and experience the wonders of the country and of foreign travel.
As part of my oldest son's (Aiden) graduation gift, 40 days from now Erin, Aiden and I will leave for Paris France on a 2-week adventure across 3 countries (France, Germany, Slovenia), 5 cities (Paris, Heidelburg, Berlin, Munich, Ljubljana) and a TON of anticipated fun (tours, sites and food). I'm not sure if either of them is as excited as I have been since we first started planning this trip. We are all looking forward to what's to come.
I won't spoil all the adventure yet, but it got me to thinking about this old blog and hope to revive it a bit, write about the next few weeks and share our adventure here.

PS. If you know me, ya know there's a 4th in our family, Liam. Fear not, he'll be having his own adventures in Florida (baseball, day trips, golfcart rides and plenty of pool time). He will be missed, but his travel adventures will come in 6 more years.
